To become an Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) the Board of Professional Counselors & Therapist for the State of Maryland (BOPCT) require that at least half of the required hours of supervised experience are provided by a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has applied for and been granted status as an “Approved Supervisor in Clinical Professional Counseling.”
